Tabletop-Robot
Tabletop-robots from IAI are precise multifunctional positioning and assembling platforms. Customers appreciate the rapid operational readiness without any additional efforts.
Many different applications
All IAI tabletop-robots are suitable for many different applications in almost all different industries. These varies from soldering and simple pick & place tasks, sorting applications, microdosing in biotechnology, assembly of printed circuit boards in the electronics industry, screw-in and press-fit in mechanical engineering to surface coating as well as different jobs in quality assurance.
Several models
All in all, IAI offers eight different models in his tabletop-robots series with working areas between 200 x 200 mm up to 500 x 500 mm. With a stroke of 150 mm, the Z-axis can also accommodate camera systems for vision-control and image processing and moves a total load of up to 6 kg. The cartesian system of all tabletop-robots could also be equipped by an additional electrical rotary axis to allow even more application.
The memory capacity of the IAI tabletop-robots stores up to 255 programs, of which up to 16 programs of could run simultaneously. A total of 30,000 positions can be stored in the integrated memory. Up to 48 I/Os are freely available for external communication.
Excellent performance
The torsion-resistant base frame allows a repeatability of +/- 0.02 mm for the entire system. The maximum travel speeds of the individual axes are at 800 mm/s (for the X and Y axes), and at 400 mm/s for the Z-axis and around 1,000 ⁰/s for the rotary axis. All IAI tabletop-robots are programmed by using either a PC or a teaching pendant
