Blume Elektronik is pleased to announce the launch of the latest ESD protection components from HY Electronic. In today’s world where electronic components are becoming more and more sensitive, protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD) is crucial. Find out more about these innovative products and how they help protect electronic circuits.
All components presented naturally meet the IEC 61000-4-2 standard!
Designs and their differences: The new ESD protection components from HY Electronic are available in various designs, including DFN, SOD and SOT. DFN (Dual Flat No-Lead), SOD (Small Outline Diode) and SOT (Small Outline Transistor) differ in their size, number of connections and their mounting options. DFN offers a low profile and good thermal properties, while SOD and SOT enable easy handling and assembly.
Maximum clamping voltage (Vc): The maximum clamping voltage (Vc) indicates how much voltage the component can absorb during an ESD event before damage occurs. The lower the Vc, the better the protection of the component and the connected circuit.
Off-state capacitance (Cj): The off-state capacitance refers to the capacitance of the component when it is in the blocked state. A low off-state capacitance is important in order not to affect the performance of the circuit. It influences the reaction time of the component to ESD events and can improve signal integrity.
The new ESD protection components from HY Electronic offer a reliable and effective solution for protecting electronic circuits from electrostatic discharges. With different designs and specified performance data, they can be adapted to the requirements of different applications.
