This gives the electrical design the greatest possible freedom right up to the initial installation, since only the mechanical cut-out (B10, B16 or B24) has to be specified when the housing is produced. Even years after the installation, it is possible to react flexibly to changing requirements by simply replacing certain grommets. Since the grommets are slit, even pre-assembled cables with connectors can be easily used to save time.
