Pfaffenhofen a. d. Ilm – With the PMG RFID Looptag, the Plöckl Media Group has developed an electronic labeling solution for a wide range of commercial, industrial and logistics applications. The loop tag, designed as a flexible wrap-around tag, consists of a robust plastic material in which a high-performance UHF transponder is embedded. The surface of the label can be designed as required using thermal transfer or laser printing with barcodes, 2D codes, plain text and logos. The transponder data can also be reliably read over longer ranges of up to almost six meters – with both stationary and portable readers. The PMG RFID loop tag can be used to label cable harnesses, power and server cables, plants or for batch identification of high-pressure refrigerant hoses in vehicles or for labeling Euro containers and other containers.
