SAMWHA ELECTRIC’s polymer hybrid electrolytic capacitor series YH and YM are now also available in size 6.3 x 5.8 mm
The electrolytes for the production of polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitors consist of a solid, conductive polymer that geometrically adapts to the surface structure of the metal anode, as well as a liquid electrolyte that impregnates a paper separator. This structure combines the advantages of two technologies, the usual aluminum electrolytic capacitors and the polymer electrolytic capacitors. In addition to the low ESR values over the entire temperature range, such a design is also characterized by low residual currents and insensitivity to overvoltage peaks. By using appropriate organic electrolytes and good sealing, a long service life without premature drying out can also be achieved.
